I am not what I will be.
I'm not sure when I became aware of Tamara's photos, but I know she commented on something that I did and then I looked at her pages. I was mesmerized by her beady-eyed flamingo, and I also happened to like her flickr ID.
Tamara's pictures have a simplicity that I love. They are clear, rich, and often jewel-toned. Her subjects are simple and often natural ones: butterflies, weeds, people, and pets. She presents them simply and affectionately, yet often with humor.
Her images show imagination, care, and thought. Despite their simplicity, they invite viewers to look at them carefully and thoughtfully. I return to her images frequently, because they somehow make me feel good about the world.
