Between age 18 and 25, photography used to be one of the great passions of my life. At that time, I hardly went anywhere without my simple but trusted Yashica 107MP SLR (and often some ton more gear!).

I rediscovered this passion in 2006, when I bought a prosumer digital camera mainly for want of lighter equipment. I could buy a digital SLR soon, but my compact camera will likely remain a beloved and trusted tool.
