Susie: Accidental Celebrity

Liz Shuman

Susie made me a delicious lunch today (gnocci, salmon burgers and delicioso vegetables), then we went to see Brokeback Mountain (which broke my heart by the way)... it was kind of a weird experience, in the middle of the movie, it just stopped... then skeezy porn music started playing... then Pride and Prejudice started playing, it went on and on like this for a while... then everything just went off and the whole place was dark. it's an old classic theater in Brookline with cool lights and fantastic decor, so the next thing that happened was red lights lit up the velvet curtain... then some dude came in and said that they were fixing it... which was cool and greatly appreciated... or so we thought, because then this lady behind us said to the nice guy who worked there "could you PLEASE not show another film, it's really distracting" then... some dude a few rows up said "Shut up"... a little while later the movie started to play and i clapped. it was the strangest intermission that ever could be... i was happy when it was all over and we returned to a "normal" state of being.

true story.

another fact, Susie makes great art with Sharpies... check 'em out.

Bowling For Columbine

Chris Rock: You don't need no gun control. You know what you need? Bullet control. I think all bullets should cost $5000. You know why? If a bullet cost $5000 there'd be no more innocent bystanders.
