"Let's do a weekend project about bowls. Whether it's a cereal bowl, a bowl of dog food, a fruit bowl, a bowl with your spare keys in it... Show us a bowl.

Make sure the bowl is the dominant element in the scene, not just a photo that happens to have a bowl in it."

Sure enough, I have some lovely bowls that I bought this summer at an Asian market in Toronto that have been begging to be photographed. Really, I promise you that they have.

At least, I think that's what they've been begging for. Admittedly, my Cantonese is very limited.
