September is the Chocolate Desert (that's desert ... not dessert). Easter is a fading memory. It's still too soon to think about Christmas. You may get some at Halloween but it'll probably be all green and wormy. Happily, the 13th of September is Roald Dahl Day. The creator of Charlie Bucket and a man with a lifelong passion for chocolate, apparently his only requirements for writing a book were sharp pencils, plain paper and chocolate bars. What better excuse to get your fingers and face and camera lens all smudged up with gooey brown goodness?
