Let's make photos and experiment with color in post-processing (or in camera). So, maybe you take a black and white photo and then "hand color" it ... or do selective coloration (aka 'cutout') ... or "tint" an entire photo the same color ... or ... do something wild with color... experiment!
Most of these things can be done in post-processing, but you could also experiment with colored filters (either photographic ones, or handmade ones (bits of colored paper, plastic, etc).
If you don't have access to photoshop or other photo processing software at home, there are several online photo editing sites that you can use. I use www.picnik.com quite a bit and there's also pixer.us that I've just heard about.
The objective of this project is to have fun with color. We'd really like it too, if in your description of the photos you add to the project, that you tells us what you did to achieve the effect you've done. That way, it can turn into an educational project for the rest of us.
Subject matter is open... this one is all about technique.
Participating in this Utata project is simple! You need to do/have the following three things and then all you have to do is tag your photos utata:project=colorexperiment (read about other tagging options) and you're all set! Have fun!
