The closet in what will eventually be our master bedroom has this nifty little platform built into it. It's probably there to cover some pipes or to give more headroom in the stairwell, but I can't help thinking of it as a private little reading chair - especially with the window next to it.

I'm not sure yet exactly what I'll do with it; I'd like to pull out the shelf and bar that are above it, but the closet is already tiny. Rest assured, though, that sunny mornings will occasionally find me curled up there with a favorite tome.
