Back in the winter I'd blown up a balloon for the cat to play with. The cat was entirely uninterested in it. So I'd put the balloon on a stool in the basement to see how long it would take to deflate...and forgot all about it. Yesterday I was in the basement putting some hemostats in the camera bag and noticed the balloon. I realized it would fit in with one of the IP elements. So I took the ball off my prop table (yes, I have a prop table), held the camera out at arm's length, blindly shot the photo, ortonized it to within an inch of its life...and there you go.
