The elements for Iron Photographer 38 were simple but required a certain subtlety and an active imagination:
1 - one or more eggs
2 - white background
3 - portrait page orientation
For the purpose of this IP event, we understood an egg to be an ovum with or without its shell or outer layer, and with or without the internal membranes and nutrients for an embryo. We didn't care what color it was, or whether it was from a chicken or a sparrow or a turtle or a velociraptor. All that mattered was that it was recognizably an egg. We didn't care what the background was so long as it was some shade of white. Portrait orientation was self-explanatory.
The results were surprisingly varied and demonstrate why Utata has become a haven for imaginative photographers (and more than a few troubled minds).
