and Master Yoda would probably think I'm too old to start my Jedi training. This shot was inspired by this shot from J.Star, which in turn led me to discover _rebbeka.
Shot for the UTATA Iron Photographer 39 Project. The elements required:
1 - something metal
2 - something grown on a tree
3 - indirect light
This was a fun little shoot. Once again, I setup the shot but required some assistance in getting the focus right and timing the shutter release; so call in the Girlfriend. I have SOOO many outtakes on this one because we couldn't seem to get our timing sync'ed up.
Strobist Info: Sigma EF 500 DG Super at 1/32 Power fired into a 43" Westcott Silver Umbrella at camera right, triggered via a Pocket Wizard Plus II.
(I have no idea why I had the camera set to ISO 800).
The elements for Iron Photographer 39 were, as usual, deceptively simple.
1 - something metal
2 - something grown on a tree
3 - indirect light
What could be easier? What could be simpler? Well, probably lots of things are easier and simpler, but few things are quite so much fun.
