Shot for the UTATA Iron Photographer 40 Project. Elements to be included:
1 - a t-shirt
2 - the oldest pair of footwear you own
3 - soft image
I won't bore people with the details of my footwear, but I'm not 100% certain these shoes are my oldest pair of footwear, but they are pretty close to the oldest.
I'm hoping 2008 will be the year I run my first full marathon. I've done several half marathons. I completed the half marathon, for which I received the t-shirt pictured here, with virtually no training. I still can't believe I did that. I was pretty sore for about a week afterwards.
Desaturated and softened the focus a bit more in Photoshop.
Strobist Info: Nikon SB-25 at 1/4 power camera right on a chair aimed at subject; triggered via a Pocket Wizard Plus II. Sigma EF-500 DG Super camera left at 1/16 power for fill, triggered via optical slave setting. Both flashes were sans modifiers.

This Iron Photographer project is all about style. Old style. The elements were as follows:
1 - a t-shirt
2 - oldest pair of footwear you own
3 - soft image
Out of such odd and disparate elements, art is born.
