Scary creatures that jump at you

According to most historical accounts, living in prehistoric times was no walk in the garden so to say. The elements and all sorts of animals had it out for human life. Today we must miss those ancient fears because we make and go to all sorts of movies which have scary creatures jumping out at you. I hate those types of movies the first time, but love them the second time and beyond when I can enjoy without tension... This particular 24x macro is of the jaw of "Alien"...PS--There's no post-processing here, straight from camera except for crop.
