Nibble is looking pretty good these days. Might be the fine eats he gets from our feeders.
Those with particularly good monitors may be able to see my reflection in his eye.
Photo #2: foot wear
For those who know me well, you know how hard it was for me to get this close. As you may gather by my tags, I'm not a huge fan of snakes.
Not even a little.
When I found him/her and was bending over a branch to take a picture, I dropped my sunglasses and they landed within 2 feet of where this snake was sunning. I had to ask my husband to come over and help me out. He's not a baby.
No snakes were harmed in the making of this photo. But a girl can dream, can't she?
