Last week, a Thursday, (imagine that) I attended a lecture by Mark B. Hansen of Duke University. He wanted to introduce us to his investigations of Whitehead and Russell's process philosophy and how that metaphysical view could be contemporalized to the 21st Century. I think I understood most of his talk and especially how he made an analogy between Platonic ideals and objected-oriented computer programming. Very heady stuff. Only now with a week of processing these ideas do have a better sense of their importance. But, let's clear our heads and take a photo walk since it is Thursday.
