I can't remember when last January 1 fell on a Thursday. At least not since I took over this gig. Well, we are 15 years into this century. Amazing. It feels a lifetime to that previous era. Smartphones? Still 3 or 4 years away. Facebook? Same thing. Twitter? What is that? Sure we had blogs and online shopping, but social mediated photo-sharing? Whoadthunkit? Thursday walks? A gleam in someone's eye perhaps? Years away from the millennium. But we have all those things now. So we will continue along with ritual and tradition. Vive la Thursday Walk!.
