Utata Thursday Walk 685

Today is the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion in Normandy, France, an event that paved the way for Allied Forces to change the tide of the Second World War. In less than a year after this beach head into German-held France, the Fuhrer would commit suicide and the war would practically end in Nagasaki after the second atomic bomb was dropped fourteen months from now. So, when you take your photo walk today, for it's Thursday, then remember why we have relative peace in our time and stand up to the forces that want to unleash hell-fire again.
