Utata Thursday Walk 694

They say August is well into the Dog Days of Summer. The ancients, especially the Egyptians, noticed that Sirius, the Dog Star, became visible again, just before the annual flooding of the Nile. The Romans and Greeks noted that the hottest and driest time of the summer was this period. In our modern times, baseball contenders are separating themselves from the pretenders. And here at Utata, we bear these days with a Thursday Walk. We can't help it -- it's in our blood. So, tag your photos with utata:project=tw694 and post one small image in this thread.
