another one from yesterday's (Thursday, October 25) walk; this one's at Mahim Causeway -- the main link between the Island City of Mumbai (South Mumbai) and the Suburbs to the North (these cars are heading South; with major businesses being housed there...)
Mumbai is a peculiar city in that sense, because it's by and large configured along a North-South Axis along the main rail network -- most other cities I've been to tend to be circular (North-South + East-West) or otherwise.
This scene is not out of the ordinary, cars will be packed this tight and worse for 3-4 hours in the morning, and about as long going the other way in the evenings.
This shot appealed to me for two reasons, the strong shadow, and the freedom of space the cyclist seemed to have in comparison with those right next to him.
