I like to think this is the penultimate week of summer, even though autumn is just under 3 weeks away. Hear me out. School starts after Labour Day. The days are getting shorter and nights are much cooler. It just feels like the fun is winding down and we are about to enter the frenzy of September. Plus, hurricane season finally picked up its pace. I just wish my squashes and tomatoes would hurry and ripen. Oh, well, we'll always have Thursday. Go for a walk with camera in hand or pocket.
