xaver, my friend steffi and i visited schloss nymphenburg in late august 2006. the day was overcast, but we still admired the baroque palace – built in the late 17th century for the bavarian elector ferdinand maria and his wife henrietta adelaide – and enjoyed a long walk in the park as well as a visit to the nearby botanical garden.
