The day I took these photos, my friend Lisa and I were driving from Seattle to Victoria, British Columbia. We were two girls in a fast red car, on our way to visit friends and enjoy a day or two of freedom and hedonism. Our drive took us through scenery so beautiful it created in me a physical urge to photograph it. For a hundred miles I sat with my camera in hand, face to the window, enraptured and enthralled.
