Turning while grilling is a big controversy. The Breakfast typically does one flip and then off for serving. If the core temperature is too low, a third flip is required.
Locally, para-boiling is acceptable before grilling sausage. Boil the sausage in half water and half beer (secret spices may be added here). You can boil the sausage until the fat in the casings liquefies or until the sausages are fully cooked. If you care to reduce the amount of fat, slice the sausage length-wise before grilling.
