Venus rises to the west as the sun has set over the Santa Rosa Mountains. The ghostly remains of the old North Shore marina along the Salton Sea provide an interesting silhouette.

It's actually a somewhat spooky experience, the left over remains of the marina, the dead quiet and calm of the lake, you feel both alone and if you are treading somewhere you shouldn't (or maybe that's the no trespassing signs 20 yards behind you).
