in mid-july 2007 our local sight-seeing took us to the müngstener brücke – the railway bridge connecting the towns of solingen and remscheid, constructed in 1897. spanning the river wupper, 107m high and 465m long it is quite a sight. xaver was duly impressed and posed for me on a railing in the park at the foot of the bridge.
