It's possible that these are, to others, just another set of vacation photos, and a blurry, out-of-focus set at that. Or maybe some of the enchantment I felt comes through, and maybe others will love my memories too. Though I hope it's the latter, the satisfaction I received from this set was derived almost entirely from the making. I spend most days bound by rules myself, especially as I attempt to enter the unforgiving world of photojournalism. I expose photos carefully, I watch and wait until my subjects are "just so" in the frame. But sometime soon I'll be back there on that highway. Look for my lens in your rearview mirror.
