The idea is that they're going to rebuild this as a "Gehry-esque" beacon for the arts in downtown Edmonton. Ripping this Brutalist bunker from the earth does not appear to be an easy job, though slowly but surely it disappears.

Were the last 50 years really such a massive mistake?
