The Mole Part 5 Aramoana

Stephen Murphy

There are subtle variations in light and colour as well as composition in this series. Each picture has its own distinct "flavour" This is mainly due to the way the sun was changing position late in the afternoon and the cloud cover overhead. I also decided to concentrate more by just using one camera and lens combination. Less distraction is definitely helpful when waiting for the right light and wave action to coincide. Taken at the Aramoana mole, Dunedin, NZ

You should see this View On Black since that brings out a lot more detail. A white background isn't always the best way to view a photograph as a lot of the finer details are lost in this small format.
