This was a bit of a stressful job, as I was in charge of keeping the boat directed into the wind while Ber brought up and took down the sails. If I had steered incorrectly and there was a gust of wind, Ber would have been knocked overboard by the boom! Ack!
This was taken after the sails were up and I didn't have to stress anymore about losing the only person who could get us safely back to shore.
