• a portrait or image of people in our daily lives whom we don't know well and/or might normally be too shy to photograph.
• A Hug to Last. The idea was to visit people in my neighborhood and ask them what inanimate object in their house they loved the most. Some variation is permissible -- i.e., which kitchen appliance do you love the most, which keepsake, which newly acquired item, etc. Then have the person hug the object like a person, like it was someone they loved going away for a long time to someplace out of touch, like they would never see it again.
