This is my first submission to Utata's Iron Photographer project series. I've made other pictures before, but this is the first one that I have made with which I am satisfied.
I am hoping that it's not too abstract. On the right, you see my collection of costume jewelry, most of which was gleaned through my middle and high school years. On the left, you see my fairy wings. They don't normally live in my bathroom.
The elements for this challenge are as follows:
1 - in the bathroom
2 - an object not normally seen in the bathroom
3 - square format
The first element means the photograph must be taken in or feature the bathroom. It doesn't have to be your bathroom. Any bathroom, toilet, latrine, water closet, loo, powder room, lavatory or public convenience will do. We don't actually encourage you to take your camera into a public convenience and start shooting photos...but it's up to you.
The object not normally seen in the bathroom is self-explanatory but very individualized. Obviously, we don't know what YOU customarily keep in your bathroom. Surprise us. Finally, square format means the final photograph must be...well, square.
All photographs shown on Utata are stored on flickr. This photo and text © Indy Charlie.
