Don Michie

I am a student of photography, an observer of the political process, and a traveler. My concentration is candid street and environmental portrait photography. I show people in place, doing normal activity. I do not stage or direct my subjects, and I generally use only available light. I am interested in the gestures, expressions, postures, and interactions that might reveal who people are, what they might be thinking and feeling. I live near Toronto, Canada, but travel wherever/whenever I can.
