As an artist, I am in the process of finding my voice. I take all kinds of pictures, trying to capture the world around me and the feeling of a moment.
I am working to try and project the essence of a subject, or to have my pictures tell a story. I love to take a picture and add words to explain a concept, like speaking of talking too much alongside a picture of a rooster crowing. Not exactly photojournalism, more like photoessayism.
For the Utatan, I've written a photo essay to show the connection the natural world has in my life to God and to my health and well-being. It is not fiction, but a snapshot of my life and an attempt to examine life and the important things in it. A second, stock photography project attempts to portray the many beautiful curves and colors of classic cars.
