Robert Harper

I am a taxi driver in Finland.

I see the disabled, the sick, the drunkards, the demented, people with hip replacements, heart transplants, amputees, children with special needs, blind people, the breathless, the infirm, the saturady night disco queens, the business men in suits who continually talk into their mobile phones, hyperactive kids, morose mothers with disabled children, agressive talkative teenagers, silent war veterans who sleep in the back seat.

A taxi in many ways resembles a doctors waiting room. I suspect I see more sick or ill people on a daily basis that a doctor does.
