I'm fairly new to photography, getting my first DSLR in May 2006 for a trip to Alaska. I'm a web designer in my day job and I'm enjoying learning and experimenting with the photo processing parts of Photoshop that I rarely use for my job. I love taking photos and am enjoying learning the technical aspect of it. I've recently become active on Flickr and have learned a lot from my participation and the connections I've made.
Currently, my favorite subject to photograph is my 8 month old son and I've committed to taking at least 1 photo every day of his childhood. I'm using the project to challenge myself with photography and to experiment with different techniques and styles.
