Artist's Statement

I photograph intuitively, capturing bits of time as they swirl around me and speak to me. Some photos are planned, others are spontaneous. Some photos are perfectly composed, others are knocked off balance. But together, they make up a life of work.

I am facing the reality of truth-telling in photography. Even staged, conception photographs attest to the photographer's thoughts and emotions. Even the most fantastical ideas are grounded in life.

Each day I strive to unite the things I see. It is an ongoing endeavor, and I hope you enjoy the attempts.
