Artist's Statement

I started my artistic expression with Fine Art at a pretty young age. My photography like my art consists largely of everyday subjects. I practice looking at things in a way that helps me not take them for granted. I express my art through photography because it is quicker to take a photo than draw a picture especially since there are so many things I want to capture.

I take pictures to bring others into my fun experience of seeing everyday things in a new way. I shoot events, portraits, and art photos from this vantage point.

Since I walk others through my experience, the event photos I take are photo journalistic in style. My portrait photos capture the genuine essence of my subjects. My art photos are mostly of found objects that seem like they are arranged for the perfect photo.
