Artist's Statement

As a teacher and a mom, I spend my days surrounded by art and small children.

As a result, my life is chaotic, tightly cropped, candy-colored, often silly, occasionally claustrophobic, mostly joyous, sometimes overwhelming, crazed and spontaneous and heartfelt.

I'd like to think my photos are too.
