Brittney Bush Bollay

I was born and raised in and around Nashville, Tennessee, but in adulthood spent four and a half years traveling and living abroad before settling (at least for now) in Seattle, Washington.

The whole "artsy" thing started young with me - I wrote my first poem at around age five, and spent much of my elementary school years running around the university art department where my mom was studying. I helped people typeset, silkscreen, and yes, develop photos.

Fast forward to 2006. My mom and stepdad pestered me for ages to get a flickr account, and I finally signed up so I would have a place to exhibit photos of the clothes I had started making. And then I remembered how much I liked taking photos, and soon I was photographing everything....

(I do still make the clothes, though.)
