Wade Griffith is a 30 year old Art Director and
Photographer living in Dallas, Texas. A hobby that
began over six years ago has turned into a passion for
him as he spends most of his weekends and free time
sharpening his photography skills. Wade has
transitioned over the years from mainly shooting B&W
film with vintage cameras to shooting subjects in
color with his digital Nikon D80.
At the present time, much of his work focuses on urban
and rural decay. Whether it be an abandoned building
or vintage sign, Wade keeps an eye open for the things
often overlooked and under appreciated and tries to
bring life and interest back to them through his
photos.
Wade’s pictures have been featured in several local
photography shows, fine art magazines, a recent book
and online at FileMagazine.com, Reuters.com and Yahoo’s “You Witness
News”, as well as in marketing and advertising
materials.
He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Dallas with a
major in Design and Visual Communications and he’s
been married to his wife Rebecca, who also enjoys
photography, for four years. His work can be found on
his Flickr site at: www.flickr.com/photos/wadegriffith
or on his personal web site at www.wadegriffith.net.
