This is the entrance to a courtyard off the Europa coffee shop in Hermanus. This normally busy spot is surprisingly quiet in this photo, probably because it was not whale season. Hermanus is one of the world's prime locations for shore-based whale watching, as these giants return to Walker Bay each year to breed.
