Utata Pays Homage
When we create an image in the style of another person, we gain some insight into how that person viewed the world. It forces us to shift out of our usual perspective and teaches us to see through a different set of eyes. With this project we are not declaring a feudal allegiance to the great photographers; we are expressing our desire to understand them better. Utata pays homage to the masters.

If you need some inspiration, or you're just thinking (as I did), "I don't know anything about the masters," start with this Wikipedia entry - Photographers. You'll have lots to choose from!
Use the Project Submissions page to add your photos. Although this is not a 'tag-only' project, please tag your photos utatapayshomage.
You can either take a photo in the style of someone else, or try to recreate a photo. Please ensure that there was a deliberate attempt to pay homage to a particular photograph or photographer before submitting. Stream mining is cool and good and if you have homages in there, absolutely, use them. The spirit of this project is where an actual conscious effort was made to emulate or work "in the style".
