At the Butterfly Conservatory, Daniel waited nearly an hour for a butterfly to land on him. No reluctant pose here: he was as eager as I to get a shot of this moment. I wish I'd had him hold his arm at a less awkward angle, but I was focused on catching this look of breathless awe.
