This is my brother Rob. You can see the scar from his traceotomy behind his shirt collar, and his hospital chart in the Emergency Room below.
I didn't really know, (frankly, I didn't care to know) Rob until this year until I shocked back to adulthood by the news that he was in a coma after a seizure at work. He's doing really well now. Volunteering twice a week at a place that makes suits of armour and raves about how "cool" it is.
When he called last night and asked "How are you?" I said,
"Well, I'm lonely, Rob". Half hour later he showed up on my doorstep with my cabbage patch kid. That's who he is now, and where ever he goes I'll try and go with him.
