I'm extremely in to recycling and doing my small part to save the planet.

Did you know that in a lifetime, the average American throws away 600 times their adult weight in garbage?

Recycling an aluminum can saves enough energy to run a television set for three hours or light a 100 watt bulb for an entire day.

Five recycled two-liter PET bottles can be used to make one square foot of carpet.

Through recycling, the steel industry conserves the equivalent energy to power about 18 million homes for 12 months and saves the energy equivalent to electrically powering about one-fifth of the households in the United States (or about 18 million homes) in one year.

A glass bottle can be recycled time and time again into another glass bottle or product, without any loss of quality. Glass is 100% recyclable.
