In spite of the fact that I can see the ocean from my balcony, I very rarely go to the beach. Most of the waterfront here is occupied by hotels and restaurants, and they want your hard-earned cash for a toe-dip in the water. Today, though, I found a little pathway down to a rocky beach, and spent a delightful ten minutes wading in the water and watching the boats go by.
