The owner of Benn's and my favorite restaurant takes in stray dogs, feeds them and gives them a home. This fellow, a new addition to the family, greeted me when I stopped by the restaurant for a beer at the end of my walk. He only has one eye, but he seemed to like what he saw of me: he promptly put two paws up on the arm of my chair and gave me a big canine kiss. :D
