Another Thursday walk

I took a walk over the new footbridge to the grotto. The earth here is probably very rich in minerals, a tradition exists of coming here, and rubbing the dirt on your body to cure ailments. Demos told me that as a teenager if you had acne you'd go there. It would have to be pretty bad acne, for me to want to, because the dirt is copper coloured.
