During harvest, many farmers combine their grain, then dump it in pyramid-shaped piles out in the field. Most times, they are able to move it quickly to the safety of grain bins. This year has been unseasonably wet, and many of these grain piles remain in the field. Deer have clambered up this one, and it remains to be seen if it will be stowed in a bin before the snow flies. I'm constantly fascinated by these prairie pyramids.
