Why, oh why, does it have to be *Thursday* to take that "tribal walk"?

With predictable regularity we have had great sunlight and good photo conditions lately on any Wednesday and several hours on Fridays as well. Only Thursdays are usually what one might label "grey-in-grey" - and rather wet as well... :-((
