Human anatomy and animal ref books on these two shelves. I've used them extensively for various projects. If you want to do a realistic drawing of something it's essential to know without a doubt what it really looks like, how its put together, what its textures are. It's hard to draw a kangaroo's feet in detail, for example, unless I've studied them in detail before, and odds are I don't have a kangaroo handy in time for my deadline, so I resort to books. I collected books for quite a while on lots of subjects and have several bookcases packed full.
